Mysale Group, the owner of Australian flash sales site Ozsale, has launched a new luxury website in Australia, cocosa.com.au.
The website is the sister site to UK-based luxury daily deals operator, Cocosa. Like its UK counterpart, cocosa.com.au is a members only shopping site, offering up to 80 per cent off of luxury and premium designer brands, including Alex Perry, Missoni, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Loewe, and Alexander McQueen.
Cocosa was first launched in the UK in 2008 by Bauer Media before being purchased by former Harrods owner, Mohamed Al Fayed, in 2011. It was acquired by the Mysale Group earlier this year, and was recently relaunched as part of the group’s international expansion strategy.
“The Mysale Group acquired Cocosa earlier this year as part of our international expansion and having now re-launched Cocosa in the UK we are very excited to bring Cocosa to Australia and provide our loyal Ozsalee members with the opportunity to share amazing deals on high end, premium brands,” Carl Jackson, CEO of The Mysale Group, said.
“The business model will be the same that we use for Ozsale, in that we have buyers negotiating the best prices the world over on designer brands and products, allowing us to bring our members new sales every day,” Jackson said.
The MySale Group has flash sales sites in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, the US, and the UK. The MySale Group has more than 15 million registered members with more than 300,000 new members joining the MySale Group’s online sites every month.
The MySale Group operates under six differentiated brands – Ozsale in Australia; NZsale in New Zealand; Singsale in Singapore; Mysale in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Hong Kong; as well as Buyinvite in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore and Cocosa in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
