The 2015 National Hardware Industry Luncheon will be held this Friday, October 16 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Guests will be treated to a two course business lunch and hear from special guest and keynote speaker Mark Laidlaw, CEO of Mitre 10.
Appointed to CEO in May 2010, Laidlaw has over a decade of experience across the Metcash group, plus 16 years with major fuel company Exxon Mobil including four years in France and Germany holding senior marketing, commercial, and operational positions.
The industry’s finest young talent will also be recognised with the announcement of this year’s National Hardware’s Rising Star Awards.
“These awards are a chance for young employees to show off the fantastic things they do on behalf of themselves, their stores and their businesses. They are just beacons of excellence and are really great examples of just how exciting and dynamic a retail career in hardware is,” said Scott Wiseman, secretariat – Hardware Associations.
