Eden Gardens has boosted its senior management team by appointing Nicholas Levy, previously GM of marketing of Taylors Wines, as COO and and Mark van der Goot as hospitality manager.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in November, these new appointments have been made to strengthen the organisation’s stronghold in the horticulture sector and build upon its aim to be universally recognised as a leading retailer of plant related product.
Founded by Simon Ainsworth, Eden Gardens opened its flagship store in Sydney’s North Ryde in 2004. Since then, the garden and lifestyle chain has expanded, with stores in Queensland and Victoria.
“During my short time at Eden Gardens, I have witnessed the passion of the team here and I’m delighted at being given the opportunity to evolve the business with such a dedicated team,” Levy said.
“The specialist horticulture sector has faced many challenges over the last ten years and it is my role to help build the Eden Gardens brand into an Australian household name.”
