Former Asos director, Peter Williams, has been appointed chairman of online fashion retailer, Boohoo.com

Williams, who spent eight years with Asos and more than a decade at the helm of  iconic department store Selfridges, will oversee Boohoo’s float on the UK stock exchange.

The retail veteran is in Australia this week as part of the third annual Retail Leaders Forum. Williams is a keynote speaker at the two day event, which begins tomorrow in Sydney, and will be addressing “Retail Renewal – Lessons from Tougher Times”.
