Mexican quick-service restaurant group Zambrero has opened a new flagship restaurant in Sydney’s Kings Cross.

The new location showcases the brand’s new, refreshed visual identity, and boosts its footprint to 14 outlets across the Sydney metro.

The QSR chain has partnered with full creative agency Today the Brave to redesign the customer experience and rapidly grow the brand.

There’s been a switch from the calm and zen mood to a more upbeat visual identity. Data and research insights are driving the new, more vibrant designs, while keeping the brand’s green colourway. The goal is to capture a broader audience segment which is seeking an energising experience.

The visual translation of this is reflected in the overarching design system, the use of more vibrant language, graphic devices and photography in posters, decals, signage, menus, and marketing communications.

As Zambrero modernises the brand, stores will adopt the textures, materials and furniture influenced by the new look.

Zambrero Kings Cross flagship sets new standards

The Kings Cross restaurant adds to the existing network of over 221 Zambrero restaurants across Australia.

Internationally the Mexican chain has 257 restaurants, across the US, the UK, Ireland and New Zealand.

Matthew Kenny, CEO, Zambrero, said “As an Australian-founded business, we are proud of our continued expansion across the country. With the arrival of our latest restaurant in Sydney’s CBD, we will be able to deliver even more exceptional QSR experiences to our customers every day.”

Zambrero recently reached a new major milestone as part of its Plate 4 Plate social mission; distributing over 70 million meals to help end world hunger.
