Lego Group is bringing the world’s largest Lego store to Sydney under the partnership with Alquemie Group.

The exact opening date has not yet been disclosed. However, the company said it will be opened in the coming months. The 900sqm Lego flagship will take over two floors at Sydney Arcade, overlooking Pitt Street Mall.

“The immersive new store will feature creative play experiences, with playful nods to Australian culture, that are sure to create lasting memories for every Aussie or visitor from around the world,” said Troy Taylor, VP and GM at Lego Australia and NZ.

The store will be home to exclusive large-format brick-built features that draw inspiration from local architecture, with the design based on ‘Stories of Australia’. Some of Lego’s retail experience include Storytelling Table, where customers can access ‘behind-the-scenes’ through interviews and videos displayed on screens, and Personalisation Studio, where visitors can experience the first Lego Minifigure Factory in Australia.

“This globally unique store will offer an immersive Lego experience for local and international brick fans, with a number of features new to this market,” said Richard Facioni, executive chairman at Alquemie Group.

“It will have something for Lego fans of all ages and will definitely put Sydney on the Lego world map!”

Lego has stores in more than 50 countries and cities, including New York, London, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Denmark.
