Rebecca Vallance opens new boutique

Rebecca VallanceBespoke womenswear retailer Rebecca Vallance has opened its third boutique, launching in Sydney’s Strand Arcade on Monday morning.

The store will be founder Rebecca Vallance’s second in Sydney alongside her North Shore location, but a pop-up shop will also be unveiled in Paddington as part of the brand’s expansion plans from April 20 to the end of June.

Vallance said she believes it’s the right time to expand her business after signing on as a supplier to the likes of Net-a-porter, Harrods, Harvey Nicols and Farfetch internationally in recent years.

“The arcade is incredibly cultural and influential, and it exudes history from years past; I very much look forward to seeing what the future holds at such a unique shopping destination,” Vallance said.

The brand will launch its autumn winter 18 and pre-fall collections in the new store, which will sit on level one of the centre.

The boutique has been styled to keep with the “subtle and natural” interior of Vallance’s other locations, with parquet flooring, textured and polished plaster walls, as well as black clothing rails and a marble point-of-sale bench.
