Pinney previously worked in a similar role for five years at Redbubble, making him an ideal candidate for the position.  According to MyDeal, Pinney has a wide area of expertise, from technology, e-commerce, and the experience market at large. “Utilising the existing MyDeal marketplace technology is a real head-start and the open architecture of the marketplace is a key feature, which we expect will allow us to quickly scale up the number of experiences available,” Pinney said.  Telstra chief executive announces retirement, replacement Telstra chief executive Andrew Penn announced his retirement from the telco this week after seven years at the helm.  According to chairperson John Mullan, Penn has spent his time at Telstra driving a focus on digitisation, as well as an investment on 5G. “In recent years, not only has Andy ensured the successful delivery of our T22 commitments, he has provided leadership at what has truly been an extraordinary time, as we have navigated both as a company anda nation through the challenges of the pandemic,” Mullan said.  The business’ current CFO, Vicky Brady, will step up to replace Penn on 1 September.
