On July 16, Williams-Sonoma, the North America-based homewares retailer will open three stores, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm, on Hay Street, Perth.
The openings at 635 Hay Street Mall will be the first Western Australian stores for Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm.
The three stores will sit side-by-side at street level, occupying a total of 1,878sqms of retail space staffed by 100 full-time and part-time employees.
“Western Australia is globally recognised for its desirable lifestyle and high standard of living and we are excited to continue our global expansion by opening three stores in the thriving city of Perth,” said Ron Young, senior vice president of global, Williams-Sonoma. “We look forward to sharing our exceptional home furnishings, unique instore experiences and outstanding customer service with local shoppers”.
Earlier this year the retailer announced plans to open its first Queensland stores in the second half of 2015.
Williams-Sonoma opened its first Australian stores in May 2013 and currently operates 13 stores in Oxford St Mall, Bondi Junction and Chatswood Chase, NSW; Chadstone Shopping Centre and Chapel Street, South Yarra, Victoria.
