oOh!media’s chairman leaving for new CEO role

oOh-Retail_McDonalds_-Macquarie-Shopping-CentreMediaWorks New Zealand has appointed oOh!media’s chairman, Michael Anderson as its new CEO effective August 29.

Brendon Cook, oOh!media’s CEO, said Anderson will be staying on the oOh! board as chairman until the end of 2016 with MediaWorks’ full support.

“Michael has been a director of oOh!media since July 2013 and his leadership and enthusiasm has been of immense value to the oOh!media team as we have returned to the ASX, been admitted into the ASX200 and continued to grow the Out of Home share market and our capabilities for advertisers in new environments,” said Cook.

Anderson said he was fortunate to chair oOh!media “during an extremely productive and innovative period in its history” and said he is looking forward to his continuing involvement as director of the company.

Cook stated the oOh!media board was constantly reviewing its composition “to ensure the breadth of its skills met the opportunities and challenges for the future of the business and to ensure good governance”.
