H&M to move into Chermside Westfield

rsz_h&mSwedish apparel giant H&M has announced the launch of a new store at Westfield Chermside in Queensland.

The store, which is set to open this year, will be the sixth store the international retailer has opened in the Sunshine State.

The move is a continuation of their 2016 Queensland expansion that saw a new store in Toowoomba last year. Over the course of the last 12 months, H&M has also opened stores in Sydney’s Broadway precinct, Bondi Junction and Woollongong.

The Chermside store will be the retailer’s 20th in Australia, after it launched Down Under in 2014. Sales at H&M reached $161 million in 2015, the latest year for which accounts are available.

H & M has been declined to provide further comment.
