image007Dita Von Teese lingerie has been revived by a new Aussie company, after the original manufacturer and distributor collapsed into administration last year.

Helen Anderson, formerly general manager of the now defunct DCI Corporation, and creative Director, Lara Brockhurst, are behind the new venture, AB Enterprises; the team who originally collaborated with celebrity name Dita Von Teese to launch and grow the brand in Australia, the United States, the EU and the United Kingdom.

“We are looking forward to bringing women of Australia incredible intimates through the launch of AB Enterprises. With our expertise in the lingerie business and our creative innovation, we believe that we can provide the marketplace with what they have been missing,” said Anderson, who has worked previously at Hickory, Pacbrands and DCI.

AB plans to develop a number of different brands that target different demographics in Australia, with two new brands currently in development and will launch later this year.

All design, development and sampling will be operated in the company’s Melbourne head office. The company currently distribute Dita Von Teese Lingerie globally through major international retailers including Harrods, Selfridges, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom’s.

Dita Von Teese Lingerie is available exclusively in Australia at Myer.

Creative director, Brockhurst has collaborated with some of the world’s leading designers and celebrities including Collette Dinnigan, Kylie Minogue and Dita Von Teese.

“We established AB Enterprises with the vision to create quality products that women would love to wear, from affordable intimates through to high-end lingerie,” she said.

“We have always been known in the industry for designing beautiful products and we wanted to continue this journey and bring new brands to fruition, so expect to see some exciting new brands launch in 2017.”
