A man who allegedly stole jewellery from nine different stores across Sydney and the NSW Central Coast has been arrested.

Police say the thefts occurred at stores in Parramatta, Tuggerah Lakes, Lake Haven, Richmond, Emu Plains, Seven Hills, and Penrith from December last year.

The latest incident occurred at a shopping centre in Eagle Vale in Sydney’s west last week.

A 47 year old man was arrested in Ingleburn on Thursday and charged with nine counts of steal from person.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Friday.
