Westfield mall owner Unibail-Rodamco names new CEO Shopping centre owner Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has appointed a new CEO, replacing the current chief executive Christophe Cuvillier. The mall operator said Jean-Marie Tritant will take over as group CEO and chairman of the management board effective January 1. Lululemon announces new leadership appointment
Athleisure retailer Lululemon has appointed Celeste Burgoyne to a president-level position.
Burgoyne will serve as president of Lululemon’s Americas operations and global guest innovation where she will be responsible for overseeing stores and e-commerce for North America.
“Celeste has been instrumental in Lululemon’s growth, and from her first day with our company almost 15 years ago, she has made tangible contributions to our culture and our business that have helped us become the Lululemon we are today,” said CEO Calvin McDonald.
Burgoyne, who joined the company in 2006, most recently served as executive vice president of Lululemon’s Americas and Global Guest Innovation. She previously worked at Abercrombie & Fitch for 10 years.
Tommy Hilfiger welcomes new president and chief brand officer
PVH Corp-owned Tommy Hilfiger has announced the appointment of Avery Baker as president and chief brand officer effective November 27.
In the new role, Baker will have global responsibility for the brand’s products, marketing and experiences across all categories, regions and channels.
Baker has held multiple roles across the company’s global offices, including chief marketing officer and chief brand officer.
“Avery has a deep sensitivity for the heritage and DNA of Tommy Hilfiger, with a track record of launching impactful consumer initiatives that drive both the brand and business,” said Martijn Hagman, Tommy Hilfiger CEO for global and PVH Europe.
Calvin Klein names new global head of design
Clothing retailer Calvin Klein, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PVH Corp, has named Jessica Lomax as its new executive vice president, global head of design, effective December 9.
Lomax joins Calvin Klein from Nike where she currently holds the role as senior creative director for women’s sportswear apparel.
She will now lead Calvin Klein’s global design strategy and provide creative direction across all areas of the business, including licensees. She will also be responsible for defining and strengthening all product categories for the lifestyle brand.
“Jessica excels in creating clear product visions that are rooted in our unique brand DNA and connected to what our consumer aspires to today,” said Cheryl Abel-Hodges, chief executive officer of Calvin Klein. “Under her creative design leadership and through her collaborative and innovative approach, I am extremely confident that our product direction will continue to become more consumer-centric, sustainable, and inclusive.”
Lomax’s appointment follows two recent hires to the Calvin Klein global leadership team: Jacob Jordan, global chief merchant and product strategist, and Linh Peters, global chief marketing officer.
