Real estate investment group Dexus has named Ross Du Vernet as CEO, effective March 2024, succeeding Darren Steinberg.
Du Vernet, who has served as the chief investment officer, will also take the role of executive director in Dexus.
“It is a privilege to be appointed to the role of CEO. Dexus is at an exciting stage in its evolution, with strong foundations and a unique set of capabilities in the platform,” Du Vernet said.
Meanwhile, Dexus chair Warwick Negus expressed gratitude to Steinberg for his more than a decade of service in the company.
Steinberg, who in October announced his intention to resign next year, will remain in the position until Du Vernet assumes the role.
Dexus’ retail portfolio includes Gateway Sydney, Galleria Melbourne, QV Melbourne, and Kings Square in Perth.
