Wesfarmers Health has opened the pilot of a new beauty and wellness concept store called Atomica, which it plans to roll out in major cities this year.

The first store is located at the Castle Towers shopping centre in Sydney, in a space formerly occupied by Priceline shop.

Wesfarmers Health partnered with Houston Group to develop the branding and with YourStudio for the design of the inaugural Atomica store.

Atomica stores will stock multiple international brands, including Bubble Skincare, Innisfree, The Ordinary, Milani, and ELF.

“We saw an opportunity for an affordable and accessible beauty-focused retail offer that delivers an inspirational in-store experience featuring coveted international brands and locally-loved Australian brands,” said Corrina Brazel, head of marketing at Wesfarmers Health.

The company has yet to reveal more details about where Atomica stores will open. However, a non-transactional website has been launched to introduce the brand.

The brand will offer “on-trend, in-demand brands, the much-loved faves, the affordable must-haves and more”.

Last fiscal year, Wesfarmer Health’s revenue jumped 5.9 per cent to $5.62 billion.
