JD Sports and Nike collaborate to bring ‘Style on Speed Dial’ to Australia

JD Sports Australia and Nike launched a video styling service known as ‘Style on Speed Dial’ which allows customers to connect with in-store experts from the comfort of their home through instant messaging, video or voice chats.

The service, launched last year, hopes to help customers with concerns around size, fit and style, and drive down the fear of buying sneakers online that fail to meet a customer’s expectations.

“We’re excited to partner with Nike to introduce Style on Speed Dial at JD Sports to give you an exclusive one-to-one experience from our expert in-store team in the comfort of your own home or on the go,” the JD Sports’ website said.

“You can connect with our in-store style expert for your very own personal shopping experience, offering real time product information, stock availability, sizing guidance & styling advice.”

To promote the feature, JD Sports Australia and Nike launched an advertising campaign helmed by a number of Australian recording artists, creatives and athletes – bringing together the business’ core audiences.

The ad starts boxer Tim Tszyu, fashion icons Julianna Yao and Tanaka Bibi, podcasters Jade Le Flay, 24 Karat Kev and Jasmin Juggins, and music artists Becca Hatch, Kobie Dee, B Wise, ONEFOUR and 1300.
