Westfield west lakesSouth Australia’s Westfield West Lakes’ new fashion and lifestyle precinct will launch on Thursday as the final stage of the centre’s $95 million redevelopment.

The final stage of the redevelopment sees the addition of new fashion retailers including a new full line Target store, Forever New, Veronika Maine, Bardot, Colette by Colette Hayman, and Wittner Shoes, among others.

The completed Westfield West Lakes spans 71,000sqm with a total of 263 retailers, 35 of which are new to the centre since the redevelopment commenced in November 2012.

The stage two launch also includes the completed rooftop carpark and a new outdoor Kids PlayWorld.

Westfield MD, Robert Jordan, said the redevelopment is part of Westfield’s ongoing commitment to respond to the changing needs of local shoppers.

“The opening of the new fashion precinct signals a new era for local shoppers and a repositioning of the centre to become a credible fashion and lifestyle destination in Adelaide’s west,” Jordan said.

The redevelopment has created an additional 300 car park spaces. To celebrate its relaunch, the centre will open with a 10 day launch festival, including live performances from Reece Mastin, fashion parades, celebrity cooking demonstrations, and children live show performances and activities.
