Shopper marketing in the spotlight

Popai Australia and New Zealand will hold its 2013 Shopper Summit and Workshop in Sydney next month. Resource-12

To be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour from September 25 to 26, the Summit will focus on shopper marketing case studies, learnings and insights from brands and retailers.

Greg Smith, chief marketing officer at The Co-op, will present on how he has spearheaded the transformation of The Co-Op into an omni-channel retailer with customer experience at the forefront of its strategy, while Jason Ratliff, senior manager shopping marketing for Philips Consumer Lifestyle will present his argument on why brands still have a tangible quality instore.

Danny Lattouf, head of channel marketing for Microsoft’s consumer and retail division will speak about the changes in the path to purchase and how informed, resourceful and connected the consumer has become, and Paul Speers, shopper marketing controller for GSK Consumer Healthcare will demonstrate how retailers can build an integrated store-back campaign.

Bringing a joint agency and client perspective on mapping customer journeys and building a new store environment, Bupa’s retail head, Gael Filippini, joins Nathan Bell from e2.

Each of the Summit speakers will chair a table of eight during a half day workshop on September 26.
