Harbour Town Gold Coast to welcome 25 new stores

Harbour Town 1The Harbour Town Gold Coast shopping centre will welcome 25 new outlet stores on May 27 as the shopping centre’s $20 million expansion nears completion.

Sports apparel brand Under Armour will open its first store in Australia at the shopping centre, and swimwear brand Tigerlily will make its Queensland outlet debut. Kathmandu, Lindt and Peter Jackson will all arrive as firsts in outlet offerings for the Gold Coast.

The stores, which will open in the centre’s new North Western Mall, are among the 25 new outlets that will be added to Harbour Town’s retail repertoire. The new outlets are set to offer shoppers 30 to 70 per cent off the recommended retail price during the opening.

“We are thrilled to see the eight-month expansion works in the final stages of completion,” said Gary Webb, Harbour Town’s centre manager.

Harbour Town 2“We anticipate that our shoppers will be delighted with the selection and quality of stores opening next week and during the months thereafter, as they can take advantage of further savings on popular products across a great range of new international and home-grown Australian brands,” Webb said.

The Harbour Town Gold Coast shopping centre, which is owned by Lewis Land Group along with another institutional investor, currently offers a combination of outlet brands and over 220 stores, including Calvin Klein, UGG Australia, Coach, Oroton, Victoria’s Secret, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss as well as a myriad of dining and entertainment options.
