Brisbane Airport seeks specialty retailer

William and Co, Brisbane Airport, International Terminal, Airport, Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) is seeking food and beverage operators to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) to operate in the Qantas Food Court on Level 2 of Brisbane Airport’s Domestic Terminal.

The RFP requires potential retailers to include a service that improves the passenger experience, is innovative and unique, provides an informed and friendly customer service, yet delivers a true sense of place that is uniquely Brisbane and Queensland.

With this in mind, BAC is seeking a successful food and beverage operator to deliver a concept with products, physical characteristics and service that match BAC’s vision to be proudly local and world best.

The retailer will be offered a minimum five year concession that provides the greatest opportunity to maximise sales for our passenger base.

Located in the Qantas Domestic Food Court, the 120sqm tenancy area will sit alongside already established brands and offer affordable, casual dining concepts from respected and recognised food identities within the busy terminal environment.

The Qantas Food Court will undergo a refurbishment which mirrors designs of a civic square, and has been conceived as a ‘courtyard café’ within a civic park.

BAC’s focus is on establishing a distinct sense of place showcasing the best attributes of the lifestyle, design, and culture that is Brisbane.

Appropriately experienced speciality food and beverage retailers who wish to participate in the RFP process should contact Daniel Fenech from BAC at Daniel.fenech@bne.com.au.

The RFP has commenced and will close at 3pm on Friday 31 October 2014.
