Armed robbery at takeaway store

 

20 dollar notesA man has made off with a sum of cash following an armed robbery of a takeaway store in Brisbane’s north.

A man wearing a black balaclava entered the store on the corner of Gympie and Zillmere roads in Aspley at 9.25pm (AEDT) on Monday, armed with a gun and demanding money.

A male attendant was threatened but not injured, before the perpetrator fled the scene on foot.

North Brisbane detectives investigating the incident say the man was described as being Caucasian in appearance and 180cm tall.
