Woolworths has announced BP as its first partner for the revamped Everyday Rewards program in New Zealand, which delivers a multi-million dollar increase in rewards from next year.

The program adopts the existing one-for-one points system, which rewards shoppers one point for every dollar spent at the supermarkets.

At BP, members will earn one point for every litre of fuel and dollar spent at the shop, Wildbean cafe or on BP car washes.

Everyday Rewards provides members with more opportunities to earn across Woolworths and its partner network, which means they can reach the 2000 points threshold faster and get a $15 voucher.

“We’ve prioritised simplicity with the program. Its appeal is that customers just shop as normal from Woolworths and other retail partners, and the rewards take care of themselves,” says Mark Burger, Woolworths GM of loyalty.

The new program will allow members to double the value they receive and get a voucher every month instead of just a couple per year, Burger continued.

Following BP, more partners will be added in the coming months, he added.

Everyday Rewards will replace the existing program, Onecard, from February 1, 2024.
