Aje has opened four new retail locations in New South Wales and Queensland, including two Aje Athletica activewear stores.
The stores are part of Aje’s expansion plan, which began last year with the opening of nine new boutiques across Australia and New Zealand, taking the network of Aje and Aje Athletica stores in the two markets to 23 and 11, respectively.
The brand said the first of the new batch to open was the revamped and expanded Aje Westfield Miranda location, followed by an Aje Noosa pop-up boutique, and two Aje Athletica locations opening in Carindale and Miranda.
“As one of our customer’s most loved locations, we’ve brought an all-embracing, elevated Aje customer experience to Westfield Miranda which has been transformed into an expansive, 164sqft retreat,” said CEO and co-founder Adrian Norris.
Meanwhile, Aje says the Noosa pop-up represents a return to the brand’s roots in the home state of co-founders Norris and fellow co-founder Edwina Forest. The Noosa location was designed to bridge the gap between coastal and urban style, a theme common to all Aje retail spaces.
Aje’s stores feature mid-century furniture by artisan collaborators like Lana Launay of Shades Launay on fitting room fixtures and ceramics by Chanel Tobler. The Aje Athletica stores reflect the brand’s modern style, providing customers with a wellness experience alongside a high fashion service proposition.
“Aligned with our artisanal attention to detail, Aje and Aje Athletica boutiques are refined and luxurious spaces to showcase our dedication to thoughtful design, immersing customers into our world,” added Forrest, who also serves as the brand’s creative director.
