Fitness giant Peloton landed in Australia recently and has since rolled out several interactive showrooms in Sydney, in addition to its 115-plus stores in the US, UK, Germany, and Canada. Each showroom provides customers with a community hub to test Peloton’s range of products, including the Peloton Bike and Peloton Bike+, while shopping its new private-label apparel range. “This new physical footprint illustrates our commitment to Australia and our members, locally and abroad,” said Karen

Peloton opened its first Australian flagship store at up-market Westfield in Bondi Junction, including an 80sqm mezzanine with three private trial rooms to test the brand’s bikes. In the Martin Place store, there are three private trial rooms and an area for personalised demonstrations, as well as a shower, bathroom, and security lockers for customers. At both Bondi Junction and Martin Place venues, the showroom teams offer virtual and in-person appointments, where experts can show customers how to use the bikes.
Peloton and David Jones have just announced a partnership together.
Meanwhile, Peloton has launched a partnership with David Jones and opened installations in its Elizabeth Street store in Sydney, and Bourke Street and Chadstone in Melbourne.
Peloton first launched in 2012 with exercise bikes and eventually grew into a media platform where subscribers can take part in a wide range of classes via streaming media. The brand has also launched a special artist series, featuring playlists from musicians including Beyonce, Bon Jovi, Madonna, BTS, and Lady Gaga. There are now more than 6.2 million Peloton members around the world and more than 50 instructors.
