Melbourne-based homewares retailer Salt&Pepper will open its first store outside Victoria, choosing in Adelaide in SA.

The new store at Tea Tree Plaza is the retailer’s largest yet, covering 176 sqm, with 156sqm of sales area. The business will open on April 28, displaying its autumn/winter collection.

The brand has been focussing on growing its brick-and-mortar footprint after witnessing a significant expansion of its e-commerce offering during the past couple of years.

Harry Pourounidis, MD and CEO of Bambis, the brand’s parent company, said the Adelaide centre aligns with the business and its loyal customer base.

“We have family roots in Adelaide and it has always had a special place in our hearts. It made sense for us to open our first interstate store at Tea Tree Plaza.”
