Aidan Clarke, the co-founder and former owner of 2XU, has introduced the new sportswear brand – Sa1nt Layers – which he says is dedicated to “enhancing the performance and recovery of every individual”.

The brand has debuted with its capsule collection focusing on compression and enhancing recovery for both men and women. Products in the collection include moisture management and medical-grade sports compression, squat-proof tights, and anti-pill training tops.

There is also a range of accessories including caps, water bottles and towels.

The brand believes compression is not merely a passing fad but a tried-and-tested technique for enhancing recovery.

“Eighteen years ago, I saw a massive gap in the performance market, which is still evident today – especially in the high-performance market,” Clarke said.

“When you speak to high-performance athletes, look at the material and science, you’ll not find many brands are doing it.

“We are here to finish the recipe we started and are excited for Australians to meet our brand.”

Aside from Clarke, the other name members of the Sa1nt Layers crew are Anna Espino, ex-2XU head apparel designer, and Peter McKenzie, former 2XU global sales manager.

The team founded Sa1nt Moto in 2015, famous for its world’s first single-layer CE-rated motorcycle denim.
