Uniqlo sets Brisbane date

uniqloUniqlo will open the doors of its first Brisbane store on December 3 at the redeveloped Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

The new Uniqlo store will offer customers a full line up of Uniqlo apparel and showcase its spring/summer 2015 collection including the brand’s AIRism range.

The Indooroopilly store will be the first in Uniqlo’s plans to expand across Queensland – with a second Brisbane store planned to open at the iconic Queen Street Mall in early 2016.

“Uniqlo is an incredibly successful international fashion retailer offering great quality, functionality and affordability and we’re excited to be able to offer this to our customers,” said general manager, Leah Mienert.

The latest announcement reaffirms Uniqlo’s commitment to growing Australia as a key market in the region, after being confirmed as the official sponsor of the Australian Masters to be held in Melbourne.

“We are excited to open at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre this December, and offer those in Brisbane our unique retail experience,” said chief development officer of Uniqlo Australia, Matthew Parker.

The Uniqlo store will be located on Level 2 of the centre next to Country Road.
