Rebecca Vallance opens first Melbourne boutique

RebeccaVallance_Portrait_BWAustralian designer, Rebecca Vallance is expanding her retail portfolio in Australia, by opening the door to the brand’s first Melbourne boutique on August 9.

Located on Armadale’s High Street in Melbourne, the store will be the brand’s new flagship, complementing its Sydney-based Mosman boutique.

The new 100sqm store, designed by local interior architect, Shareen Joel, boasts of light filled, classic, modern interiors. Timber parquetry flooring, stone benches and antique brass clothing rails are used as the stores’ foundations.

“I am thrilled to be opening our second boutique in Armadale, it has been a waiting game trying to find the perfect space for our new flagship, but now that we have it I couldn’t be more pleased,” said Vallance, who originally hails from Melbourne.

Vallance said Melbourne has always been a strong market for them.

“Our customers there really understand and appreciate our structured tailoring and polished aesthetic,” she said. “The location and atmosphere of the surrounding area is relaxed, elegant and perfectly aligned with the Rebecca Vallance customer. The chic architectural interiors and natural light that fill the space are a perfect canvas to showcase our collections.”

The expansion comes off the back of high demand for the brand’s designs, both nationally and internationally. Having recently collaborated with Net-A-Porter on an exclusive capsule collection, Rebecca Vallance has also partnered with luxury retailers Harrods, Harvey Nichols, My Theresa, Revolve and Intermix.
