With the launch of mySmartShop, Val Morgan Retail Media has appointed of Selina Martin to the role of GM, mySmartShop.
Martin, whose media career spans 20 years, said the launch of the app is perfectly timed for today’s retail climate.
MySmartShop provides shoppers with targeted deals within shopping centres and has attracted foundation advertisers such as Nandos, Hoyts Jnr, Harris Farm, Oovie and the Cancer Council. It is available to download from iTunes, with an Android version scheduled for release in the next fortnight.
Martin said she was thrilled to be appointed as GM of mySmartShop. “With 60 per cent of Australians owning a smartphone and one in five using smartphones to look for local deals on a daily basis, mySmartShop is an ideal opportunity for retailers and advertisers to engage shoppers whilst they are out spending,” she said.
