Myer appoints company secretary

MyerMyer has appointed Richard Amos as chief general counsel and company secretary following the resignation of current company secretary, Marion Rodwell.

Myer said Rodwell, who joined the company in April 2008, has made a significant contribution to the business over the past seven years, including through the initial public offering in 2009.  She also previously served as general counsel.

Amos has previously worked with a number of high profile consumer brands including Lion and Vodafone, as well as law firm, Baker & McKenzie, and is anticipated to commence in the role in early July 2015.
