Inside Retail Academy will host a one-day intensive workshop early next year, focused on how executives and commercial teams manage marketing in a multichannel retail environment.
The event, titled ‘Managing Marketing in a Multichannel Retail Environment’, will focus on empowering retail executives and inspiring marketing teams by learning from speakers who are innovative and do things differently to lead their industry sectors, said Inside Retail Academy manager, Catherine van der Meulen.
“The hand-selected speakers each embody elements of what the future of retail looks like and bring that all together to create short, sharp and interesting content, which people can take away and implement simplistically into their business,” Meulen said.
Speakers at the event include Uber general manager Australia, Simon Rossi; senior research consultant at the Australian Consumer, Retail, and Services Research Unit (ACRS) at Monash Business School; Dr Violet Lazarevic; Stylerunner founder and CEO; Julie Stevanja; Principals strategy director, Daye Moffitt; SDL social intelligence lead, Dave Goodfellow; and Demandware director, customer success and retail practice, James Johnson.
Topics to be presented include building a seamless end to end journey using key customer insights; creating meaningful stories aligned to the brand that people connect with; and establishing authenticity by upskilling and utilising the tools of the modern marketer.
The ‘Managing Marketing in a Multichannel Retail Environment’ events take place at The Sheraton Melbourne on Tuesday February 23 and The Sheraton Sydney on Wednesday February 24. Early bird tickets are now available for purchase.
