Retail investment for logistics brand

 

DHLDHL Supply Chain has opened a new 32,000sqm distribution centre in Sydney’s Horsley Park, marking the fourth addition to the company’s industrial campus, and representing a $35 million investment.

Campus is a DHL Supply Chain’s exclusively leased industrial park which spans 18ha. It employs more than 500 people and offers 90,000sqm of warehousing.

The new facility caters for three key retail customers, and will be fitted out with a fully automated retail solution in April of 2015.

Developed by Goodman for DHL Supply Chain, it offers customers warehousing and transportation services.

“Campus is home to many of our consumer, retail, technology and healthcare customers and features some of our most innovative customer solutions and environmentally sound outputs,” said Terry Ryan, CEO, DHL Supply Chain South Pacific.

“Annually we have taken upwards of 30,000sqm of industrial real estate since 2009 and will continue expansion to support Australian market growth.  Today, in Australia, we manage over 500,000sqm of warehousing.”

The facility features sky lighting, energy efficient air conditioning systems, solar hot water heating, rainwater usage, and sensored T5 energy efficient lighting.
