Mexican restaurant brand Mad Mex has named Cameron Fincher as its new CEO, who will guide the company into its next phase of expansion.

Fincher’s experience includes brands such as Unilever, KFC, and Breville. He has leadership expertise in a variety of industries, including quick-service restaurants, hospitality, and international consumer brands.

“On behalf of our network, we are incredibly excited to welcome Cameron to Mad Mex,” said founder and MD Clovis Young.

“Cameron’s extensive experience across a diverse range of businesses and categories makes him the perfect fit to continue our vision of building Australia’s most loved and respected Mexican food brand.”

Mad Mex is Australia’s leading fast, casual Mexican restaurant chain, with a mix of 70 company-owned and franchised outlets around the country.

In 2023, Mad Mex appointed Therese Frangie as CEO when its founder and former chief, Clovis Young, moved on to become MD.
