Savers will open its fourth South Australian store at the Richmond Lifestyle Centre in Marleston on February 20, with more openings planned for the year.
The 2580sqm store is set to become one of Savers’ largest stores in Australia and will offer over 100,000 ‘pre-loved’ clothing, accessories, home goods, and other items.
The new store opening comes after a Savers-commissioned study found that 85 per cent of Australians surveyed favour pre-loved items and 77 per cent recognise the growing significance of sustainable fashion.
“The Marleston thrift superstore is the result of years of effort to find the perfect location to meet the needs of Adelaide’s growing western suburbs, and we’re excited to expand our Thrift Proud movement in such a vibrant, developing area,” said Michael Fisher, Savers Australia MD.
Last year, Savers opened a store on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst in Sydney, following the opening of a store in Hoxton Park Prestons in May.
Meanwhile, Savers has onboarded Wounds Australia as its newest not-for-profit partner.
