Australian fashion label, Aje, has launched an Aje Athletica flagship store at Westfield Sydney City, with six more standalone locations scheduled to open across the country early next year.
Launched last May, Aje Athletica is an activewear spinoff brand designed to support physical performance and personal well-being. Long term, Aje plans to open 11 Athletica stores across Australia and New Zealand that will exclusively sell the consciously designed athletic wear range.
Situated on the ground floor of the centre, the Sydney Westfield flagship was designed in consultation with construction partner, ProSpace, to incorporate modern and contemporary styles. The store features curved forms, inspired by the sculptures of Richard Serra and the space is dominated by earth tones, highlighted with metal and rock to create an organic feel.
The fashion brand is set to have 28 stores trading by the end of this year, with Aje Athletica stores scheduled to open on the Gold Coast and in Auckland during the coming weeks.
Founded in 2008 by best friends Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest, Aje is a contemporary Australian fashion brand dedicated to “raw beauty, tough femininity and effortless cool”.
