US-based homewares and furniture group, Williams-Sonoma, has confirmed the opening date of its four new stores at Sydney’s Chatswood Chase, as the retailer continues to expand its footprint in Australia.

Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and West Elm will all open on August 28, bringing the retailer’s total number of stores in Australia to nine.

“When we opened our stores in Bondi Junction last year it was the first time we had showcased all four brands together. We plan to replicate this when we open stores in Chatswood Chase. We look forward to sharing our exceptional home furnishings along with unique instore experiences and outstanding customer service with more Australian customers who want to decorate, entertain, and live well.”

Williams-Sonoma will open a further four stores for Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and West Elm in Chadstone Shopping centre late 2014.

Williams-Sonoma opened its first Australian stores for Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and West Elm in Oxford Street Mall, Bondi Junction in May 2013 and another West Elm store along Chapel Street, South Yarra, Melbourne in September 2013.

All four brands also have dedicated e-commerce platforms for the Australian market: williams-sonoma.com.au; potterybarn.com.au; potterybarnkids.com.au; westelm.com.au.
