What’s happening at Ksubi?

-12It’s been a busy week in retail, but perhaps the least talked about story of the week has been the abrupt closure of fashion label Ksubi’s stores. After breaking the news to the industry last week, Inside Retail PREMIUM has done a little digging to find out what’s really going on behind the scenes of the cult brand.

Also flying under the radar this week is the arrival of a luxury Italian brand, to open its first Aussie store in April.

The biggest news for this week would have to be the departure of Coles’ boss, Ian McLeod from the role he has held for six years. It’s shaping up to be a big year for CEO movements at some of Australia’s biggest retailers, and Jared Dickson has the details on the who, what, where, and why of the changes.

An Aussie icon brand is finally making a mark on the retail landscape and is bringing along a new little sister brand for the ride.

We’ve also got news on the performance of some of Australia’s retail golden children, and Jon Bird finds his own retail gold nestled in the holiday town of Noosa.

Inside Retail is conducting a short survey on the state of the Australian retail industry and we’d like your opinion.
