Westfield is trialling a click and collect model in the UK that may be rolled out to Australia.
The Australian shopping centre group has launched a service for online shoppers that lets them try before they buy.
The concept opened at Westfield London in late January and features a lounge area, fitting room, and one hour free parking.
Online shoppers are able to try their purchases on in the change rooms before they fully commit to taking them home.
Collect+ @ Westfield encompasses more than 260 retailers, including omnichannel icons Topshop and River Island and online superpowers Asos and Amazon.
Fairfax is reporting that the “luxury” concept will open in Australia if the British trial is successful.
“With the growing popularity of click and collect, we saw an opportunity to respond to shoppers’ needs,” said Myf Ryan, Westfield’s marketing director for UK and Europe.
