UNIQLO Werribee 1Japanese fast fashion retailer, Uniqlo, yesterday opened its new store at the Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre.

The new store at Pacific Werribee in Victoria’s South-West, which covers a sales area of 995sqm, comes as part of the centre’s $400 million redevelopment.

Shoichi Miyasaka, CEO of Uniqlo Australia, officially opened the store during a ribbon cutting ceremony that also featured traditional Japanese drummers.

Miyasaka earlier said Uniqlo’s growth strategy across Victoria has been a key focus and priority for their business since they opened their first store in Melbourne in 2014.

“Victorian shoppers have shown an extremely positive response to Uniqlo so far, and we are passionate about making our products more accessible to shoppers across the state.”

The store marks the retailer’s fourth offering in Victoria and its 12th nationwide.
