Woolies has appointed a new PR director, Will Lehnertz will also lead the supermarket’s influencer activity. Woolworths has appointed Will Lehnertz [pictured above] as public relations director, replacing Menreet Kaur [pictured below], who is relocating to London after three years in the job. Lehnertz will be responsible for leading public relations and influencer activity for key campaigns and marketing activity for the supermarkets business. He will also support the Woolworths Group pres
p press office and the wider Media Relations team.
He joins Woolworths from Qantas where he was senior adviser, PR and publicity for the past five years. Prior to this he worked in the US on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as associate manager for branded entertainment and new business.
Lehnertz will report to Peter O’Sullivan, GM of group external communications and community.
New faces at AMP Capital
AMP Capital’s new CEO, Boe Pahari, has announced a number of changes at the top, with new faces to the leadership team.
The changes are believed to “strengthen the global focus” of AMP Capital and “reflect its strategy to grow in the world’s largest asset markets”, the company said.
Among the changes: Patrick Trears has been appointed global head of infrastructure debt, based in the US. He will succeed Andrew Jones, who will now leave AMP Capital.
Tim Smith has been appointed head of international distribution. Currently head of American and European distribution, Smith will be elevated to the leadership group.
Aideen O’Donovan has been appointed CFO, replacing acting CFO and COO Adrian Williams [pictured], who is taking on the role of global transition manager.
Simon Joiner has been appointed COO, picking up Williams’ COO duties and will join the leadership group.
Simon Ellis, currently partner, infrastructure equity has been appointed as head of Americas. Partners infrastructure equity Matt Evans and Ruben Bhagobati have been appointed co-heads of Europe – three new roles.
After five successful years of building the real estate business, Carmel Hourigan has decided to leave AMP Capital to take up a new role at Charter Hall. A process to replace her has already commenced and she will remain in the role to manage an orderly handover of responsibilities.
With Madeleine Mac Mahon’s decision to resign after 12 years with the business, Lisa Hurley and Lauren Crystal, currently AMP Capital people and culture business partners, have been appointed co-heads of people and culture, and will be members of the leadership group.
