Victoria’s Secret will open its first standalone store in Melbourne’s CBD next month, as the lingerie brand’s local rollout continues to gather pace.
Airport-specific retail operator, Valiram Group, who manages the brand’s seven airport stores, will operate the Victoria’s Secret Beauty and Accessories store to be located at Melbourne’s Emporium.
The 142sqm store will stock Victoria’s Secret beauty products and accessories including bags, scarves, and sunglasses.
The store will feature black cherry fixtures and a gallery of runway and black and white images, along with two video walls which will broadcast footage of the Victoria’s Secret Angels.
The US-based brand opened its first Australian CBD store earlier this year in February at Sydney’s Queen Victoria Building (QVB).
It opened its first airport location at Sydney’s International terminal in 2010, it has since opened additional stores at Sydney Domestic Airport, Melbourne International, Melbourne Domestic, and Brisbane Domestic. Its latest store to open was at Perth’s Domestic Airport in April last year.
