Pie Face in Asia push


PieFace-1Australian franchise Pie Face partners with VL Development to expand into Singapore and Malaysia.

The agreement calls for the development of 50 outlets across Singapore and Malaysia in the next five years.

“They have a unique brand and an exceptional product that we believe will be well received by our markets in Singapore and Malaysia,” said SH Goh, head of VL Development.

“We believe the hub and spoke business model run by Pie Face, where the product is made from scratch in a local commissary, is the right business model for this type of activity and we look forward to building scale in our store network in conjunction with the central commissary itself.”

Outside Australia, Pie Face has a presence in New Zealand and Manhattan, New York, and has recently signed an agreement with Dubai based Foodmark to develop 100 stores in the Middle East.
