Police are searching for two armed bandits who stole cash and jewellery from two men in Sydney’s west.

Police said two wholesale jewellers were approached by two men armed with a gun and a large knife at a shopping centre car park at Rhodes about 6pm (AEST) on Sunday.

The thieves, who both had their faces covered, threatened the jewellers before robbing them of a large sum of cash and jewels.

The pair fled in a green Honda Accord.

No one was injured in the robbery.
