New Zealand clothing retailer Glassons is to join the tenant lineup at Westfield Knox’s new fashion and lifestyle precinct scheduled to open on November 23.

Glassons will join Uniqlo, JD Sports, General Pants Co, and Glue Store, which will be part of the last stage of the $355 million redevelopment of the Victorian shopping centre.

“We know the Knox community will enjoy shopping our range of trending and must-have pieces, wardrobe staples and everything in between, and we are thrilled to be bringing Glassons to the new fashion and lifestyle precinct at Westfield Knox,” said Sam Glasson, property and logistics manager at Glassons.

Meanwhile, Uniqlo’s store will span 1154sqm and feature 10 fitting rooms and five self-checkout machines.

“We are very excited to be part of Westfield Knox’s significant investment into the area, and to bring Tokyo to local customers with our LifeWear range,” said Fuminori Adachi, Uniqlo Australia CEO.

The last stage of the redevelopment also includes a relocated food court, a 25-metre swimming pool for children, a 2000sqm public library and co-working space and an internal play space for kids.

In June, the mall rolled out the first stage, which included the opening of a FIBA-grade basketball court and a nature-inspired outdoor kids’ play place alongside more than 20 new and returning fashion and lifestyle retailers including Decjuba, Gorman, Forever New, Kathmandu, and Rebel.
