Eagle Boys marks milestone

eagle boys, pizza, franchise, food Australian pizza franchise, Eagle Boys, will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of its express store format this year.

Eagle Boys first started 26 years ago and in 2004 launched its express store model as an extension to the business.

There are currently 43 Eagle Boys Express Stores in various sites across Australia including in airports, convenience stores, cinemas, stadiums, petrol stations, and shopping centres. Another eight stores are under construction with further expansion scheduled both in Australia and the greater South Pacific in 2014.

Eagle Boys express brand manager, Robin Heslehurst, says the chain’s express store works well for the time poor consumer, and sees no sign of the model’s growth slowing down.

“People are time poor. They are often in transit and they are looking for variety and quality in a speedy manner, from a brand they can trust.  To have a product from Eagle Boys in just three minutes is convenient and satisfying, and for those people on the go, it’s highly appreciated,” Heslehurst said.

The Express Store model caters for all three day parts with snacks in between.

“The menu can be a convenience store or service station’s complete food offer or franchisees could choose to only offer specific parts of the menu that compliment their existing menu and customer requirements.”
