The event, to be held on August 13, is part of the Strand Arcade’s launch of its Spring/Summer 2014 campaign, and will offer customers ‘one night only customised experiences’ with the retailers of the Strand Arcade including Manning Cartell, Haighs Chocolate, Suit Shop, and Hunt Leather.
Entering the arcade customers will be greeted with a hand illustrated map outlining the interactive schedule of events for the evening.
Strand Hatters will host a Gentlemen’s Lounge featuring live hat steaming, shaping, custom feathering and banding, and shoe shining; luxury leather and accessories brand, Hunt Leather, will offer customers personalised on the spot franking of pieces; while beauty and cosmetics retailer, Aveda, will have alchemists on hand to create custom blends of lotions and perfumes.
Manning Cartell will launch exclusive pieces only available at the Strand Arcade on the night; and men’s retailer, Mister Mister, will offer monogrammed leather jean tags/patches on the back of their custom-fit jeans.
Cult women’s fashion brand, The Corner Shop, will be joined by fashion blogger, Sara Donaldson, to provide instore style advice and curate looks from the boutique’s designers. Shoppers will also be able to designer their own earrings at the Courtesy of The Artist Custom Art Bar.
