Australian coffee chain, The Coffee Club, has opened its first drive through store at Tingalpa, in Brisbane’s East.
The drive through concept is the latest in a series of new offerings as part of the chain’s biggest ever transformation which so far has involved the launch of a new nationwide menu and the roll out of a modernised new store design.
Jason Ball, The Coffee Club Group CEO, said the drive through is a further step in the company’s ongoing journey to modernise its offering.
“With more Australian customers wanting quick service and a convenient coffee on the go, the introduction of our first drive-thru is very timely. We are focused on reinvigorating our store designs to meet the changing needs of our customer,” Ball said.
In addition to the drive through, there is a café inside offering seating and new café menu. The drive through features a unique drive through only menu, which is designed around meals on the go that can be served quickly.
“The benefit of the Tingalpa store is that it will offer flexible options; the inside cafe will offer customers the choice to have a sit down experience while the drive through offers them a fast and convenient service from 6am everyday.
“A dedicated team of experienced drive through professionals have been recruited who have undertaken four weeks of formal Coffee Club training. We’re all very excited to introduce customers to the new store.”
The franchise network will have 279 stores in its group nationally by the end of December as 14 new stores are set to open.
