Retail recruiter, RWR Group, has opened voting for its third annual Retail Employer of the Year Award.

The competition is open to any retailer in the country, and votes can be cast by anyone, including members of the public, current staff, and previous staff.

“This award allows the Australian retail community to really give recognition to the hard work that retailers are doing around creating a great workplace, and help raise the benchmark industry wide,” said John Caldwell, CEO of RWR Group.

“Since the establishment of the annual award in 2011 the response has been incredible. Each year we have more and more entries.

“Being a great employer helps businesses attract the best talent and increases productivity among staff. It’s important to remember that employees are fundamental stakeholders in your business. Treated right, they can become the most powerful brand ambassadors a company could ever ask for,” said Caldwell.
