Three ways to scale your app to 1 million users

Adjust has released the long-awaited second half of its guide, which aims to help app marketers scale their app growth with strategies for user retention, internationalisation, and influencer marketing. 

While Part 1 of Scaling your app to 1 million users focused on user acquisition strategies and app store optimisation (ASO) strategies, Part 2 delves into user retention. The metric, a number given to the percentage of users who still use an app after a set number of days post-install, is one marketers use to determine how well their app is performing over time and which channels are supplying the highest value users. 

An app’s retention rate can be affected by many factors, such as the onboarding experience, user personalisation, and in-app messaging. The guide reviews five of these factors, with tips for marketers and app developers on how to enhance them. Also included is a comprehensive overview of deep linking, a strategy shown to double apps’ user retention rates.

A second focus of the guide is how to launch an app globally. Entering new markets is an excellent way for an app to gain visibility and increase its user base. However, doing so requires a fully-realised strategy. This part of the guide offers the three major steps to launching an app in a new target market: translation, localisation and internationalisation. 

Finally, Adjust added a bonus section on influencer marketing covering the top-deliver influencer platforms and related statistics on the coveted Gen Z. The guide points out:
